CONSTITUTION

Constitution

 

            The Radcliffe on Trent Youth Group is part of the Radcliffe on Trent Methodist Church, Shelford Road. Radcliffe on Trent. The club has an open membership for Boys and Girls aged 13 to 24 Years. The Group is registered with the Nottinghamshire County Council

 

The Leader

            The Leader is appointed by the Church Council and is responsible to the Council. The leader and anyone assisting that is over 18years of age, will have had standard disclosures by the CRB as part of the Safeguarding Policies.

 

Meetings

            The group will meet on Sundays in the morning at 10 am and Sunday evening at 7.30pm.

 

Activities

            Various activities will be organised from time to time, which may include attending festivals, camping, swimming, cycling, sleep overs etc. Before any overnight activity or travelling from the Church, the parent or guardian has to sign a consent form and state any medical or special needs including contact information. All members are encouraged to become participants in the Duke of Edinburgh’ Award Scheme, starting at the Bronze level and work through to the Gold Award.

 

Funding

            There are no regular subscriptions and each activity is geared to be self funding, but grants (from donations) are available to support those from families that have limited means.
