is situated on the A52 6.5 miles from Nottingham and 4 miles from the A46 at Bingham. The population is 7,775 (2001)
It is twinned with Bussy-Saint-Georges, a town just 15 miles east of Paris.

The nursery unit offers morning or afternoon places to children between the ages of 3 and 5.

There are about 300 children attending this school. They have a large sports field, and extra curricular activities include drama, football, cricket, rounders, netball, quiz nights and discos.

This school has over 1,000 and has excellent facilities. There is a seperate Sixth Form block for around 140 students.

Swimming Pool

The village indoor heated swimming pool is situated on the Dayncourt School campus. During school term it is used by a number of local schools, all other sessions are managed by the Radcliffe on Trent Swimming Pool Associatin. Contact Nigel Buck 0115 933 5257
